Guy Taylor

Business Systems Specialist

Guy has worked in the B‑BBEE space since 2003 and currently heads software development at the BEE Chamber, focusing on the ongoing development of the Chamber’s BEESmart tool.

With a background in engineering and early experience in project management and business strategy, Guy has consulted for multitude of companies - including Microsoft, IBM, SASOL, Nokia, BT, and ArcelorMittal on B‑BBEE strategy and Ownership structures. He was part of the team involved in drafting South Africa’s 2007 Codes of Good Practice, giving him a deep understanding of the principles behind broad-based B‑BBEE.

Colleen Wentzel

Colleen has actively been in the B-BBEE compliance space since 2013. Coming from an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) background, she has the industry experience of what Clients experience and the challenges’ they face.

Rosalind Nightingale

Bursary Implementation Manager

Ros has worked in Skills Development and Socio-Economic Development (SD & SED) Bursary management since 2017, supporting hundreds of students across South Africa with tuition and other academic funding needs.

She has built strong, long-term relationships with bursary sponsors who return year after year, trusting her for her hands-on approach and reliable service. Her close partnerships with tertiary institutions nationwide ensure seamless coordination and delivery.

Known for her personal touch and responsiveness, Ros has received countless messages of appreciation from students. She leads a committed and caring bursary team that continues to make a meaningful impact through educational support.

Bridget Themba

Head of Certificate Collection

Bridget She has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Human Resources Management and Marketing. She is responsible for all operations pertaining to collecting, validating, coordinating and quality control of collected B-BBEE Certificates as a Service Offering to BEE Chamber Members.

Nomathamsanqa Mbanjeni

Yes Implementation Manager

Nomathamsanqa manages the Y.E.S Programme at the BEE Chamber, focusing on youth work experience, training, and certification. She also oversees B‑BBEE verification processes and ensures alignment with sourcing policies.

With over a decade of experience in project management and business consulting, she has led initiatives to improve efficiency and drive transformation. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and is completing a PGDip in Management Practice with Henley Business School.

She believes transformation is more than compliance – it’s about creating meaningful opportunities that drive real change.

Zanele Shabangu

Consultant

With three years of experience in the B‑BBEE consulting industry, Zanele supports businesses across various sectors in improving or maintaining their B‑BBEE position. She advises organisations on B‑BBEE-related queries and helps them align with legislative requirements.


Zanele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an Honours degree in Business Management. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).

Miguel Correia

Senior Consultant

Miguel began his professional career as a Transformation Intern at Thebe Investment Corporation eight years ago. During this time, he developed a strong interest in B‑BBEE and transformation, particularly in using skills development as a driver for sustainable economic impact beyond compliance.


He has since consulted for organisations across a variety of sectors and previously served as a Verification Analyst at BDO Verification Services. Miguel holds a BCom in Strategic Management and is a qualified Skills Development Facilitator.

Anathi Swazi

With six years of experience in the B‑BBEE industry, Anathi supports clients with transformation strategies, client engagement, and strategic consulting. He is well-versed in the B‑BBEE Act and Codes of Good Practice, helping clients meet their objectives.


Anathi holds a BCom in Accounting and certifications in the B‑BBEE Management Development Programme and Project & Programme Management. He is passionate about diversity, equity, and driving meaningful change in South Africa’s economic landscape.

Nadiya Hattia

Senior Consultant

An Admitted Attorney of the High Court, Nadiya transitioned from legal practice into the B‑BBEE space, where she has specialised for the past eight years. Her legal background gives her a strong grasp of the legislative framework underpinning B‑BBEE.

She is passionate about thought leadership and regularly shares insights on B‑BBEE, mental health, and women’s empowerment. Nadiya has a deep interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), with a focus on its impact both locally and globally.

Schalk van de Reuck

Senior Consultant

Schalk works closely with clients to develop and implement high-level B‑BBEE strategies, track scorecard progress, and support them through the verification process. He is committed to delivering strategic, long-term solutions that move beyond transactional approaches. As part of his role, he helps Members evolve and optimise their B‑BBEE strategies in line with sustainable transformation goals.

He began his career in the B‑BBEE industry over 12 years ago and has since worked with organisations across various sectors. Schalk holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Pretoria.

Kebalepile Matlhako

ESD Transformation Specialist

Kebalepile holds an MBA and a Master of Business Administration (MBA-Majoring in Entrepreneurship). He is an accomplished, analytical and strategic transformation specialist with over 20 years’ professional in-the-field experience. His areas of expertise lie in problem-solving, strategy and programme development, stakeholder management, change management and B‑BBEE compliance management.

Frik has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Research Psychology. He has dedicated the past 17 years to assisting businesses in the management of their people. He is well positioned on the Senior Transformation Consulting Team as a Senior Human Capital Consultant.

Mariette van Wyk

Technical Specialist

Mariëtte oversees the technical quality of reports and supports Members in shaping their B‑BBEE Scorecard and Ownership strategies. She also helps align BEE Academy training material with current developments.

A Chartered Accountant, she began her B‑BBEE career in 2010 as a Verification Analyst and was later assessed by SANAS as a Technical Signatory. Over 11 years, she conducted verifications for businesses ranging from family-owned companies to JSE-listed entities. She joined the BEE Chamber in April 2021.

Reona Strydom

Technical Specialist

Reona Strydom is a Technical Specialist at the BEE Chamber and is recognised as a competent Technical Signatory. She holds a B.Com Degree in Tourism and Marketing Management. She is exceptionally versed in all areas of B‑BBEE, from the B‑BBEE Act to all published Codes of Good Practice, including all Peripheral legislation feeding it.

Barry has nearly two decades of experience in delivering professional customer experiences across a range of industries. As Proposal Manager, he oversees the end-to-end proposal process - from drafting and sending to securing proposals - while maintaining strong client relationships. Known for improving speed and turnaround times, Barry brings expertise in marketing, customer care, project management, and administration. He holds certifications in marketing.

He holds a BCom in Economics from UNISA and focuses on spotting growth opportunities, expanding into new markets, and building strong, long-term client relationships across South Africa.

Poovan Govender

BEE Academy Sales Manager

Poovan is responsible for driving delegate acquisition and promoting the BEE Academy’s training offerings. He is also a majority shareholder and Director of the BEE Chamber, where he plays a strategic role in the organisation’s growth. With 16 years of experience in sales, marketing, and events coordination, he brings a strong commercial focus to the Academy’s initiatives.

Jeanne Marshall

Finance Executive

Jeanne is Head of Finance at the 

BEE Chamber with a fast amount 

of experience in managing financial 

operations and planning. She controls 

all financial and accountancy matters, 

manages cash flow, statutory accounts, 

presentation of management information, 

ensuring legal and regulatory documentation are in place. 


Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting.

Mariana joined BEESA Business Services in 2012 as Consulting Analyst Manager. 


She became Head of Consulting in 2015, moved into the role of Head of Sales in 2016, and was appointed CEO in 2017. In 2020, she became COO of both the BEE Chamber and BEESA Business Services. 


She has over 15 years of experience in the B‑BBEE industry.

Yuneal engages, guides, supports, and advises Members on best practice to achieve B‑BBEE transformation and business goals – while managing the risk of fronting practices.

He previously served as the Accreditation Manager for the B‑BBEE Programme at SANAS. Before taking up his role at SANAS, he played a critical part in the B‑BBEE Policy Unit at the Department of Trade, Industry & Competition. He was responsible for drafting and developing 

B-BBEE Legislation for implementation and played a key role in establishing the Youth Employment Service (YES Initiative).

Andrew Bizzell

Chairman and Ownership Specialist

Andrew is the Chairman of the BEE Chamber and holds a BSc Hons from Oxford Brookes University. He has been at the forefront of B‑BBEE since its inception—he was the founder of several institutions including the National Association of BEE Consultants (now ABP), the Institute for Enterprise Development (IED), and the BEE Chamber.


Andrew is deeply committed to the development of B‑BBEE Practitioners, grounded in his belief that economic transformation depends on the competence of those tasked with driving it.
